Product Description

A round coffee table is the easiest shape to live with. No corners to catch, and it reads the same from every seat in the room.

The Holland pairs a polished marble-effect tabletop with a wide drum base. The top is bright white, glossy enough to throw light back into the room, with taupe and grey veining running across it in broad bands that darken towards the edge. Underneath, the ribbed pedestal is a solid cylinder in pale natural wood, its fluted detailing running vertically the whole way round so the surface picks up shadow as the light shifts. No legs, no visible fixings.

Care

The tabletop

  • A soft damp cloth handles almost everything; dry it after and the gloss stays even. 
  • Mild washing-up liquid lifts anything stubborn.
  • Avoid abrasive creams, scouring pads and bleach sprays, all will dull a polished finish over time.
  • Coasters under hot mugs, and nothing cut directly on the surface.

The ribbed base

  • Dust along the grooves with a dry cloth or a soft brush, following the direction of the fluting rather than across it. 
  • Wipe marks with a barely damp cloth and dry straight away.
  • Keep the table away from radiators and out of prolonged direct sun, which will lighten the finish unevenly.
